PPAC Advisors
Pre-Professional advisors assist UCR students and alumni with career exploration specific to health and law, pre-requisite course selection, how to prepare for professional entrance exams (i.e., MCAT, DAT, LSAT, etc.) assistance with primary and secondary application writing as well other areas surrounding preparing for a career in the health and law professions.
- To meet with a Pre-Health Advisor, you must be assigned to a Pre-Professional Advising Center Cohort (e.g. pre-medicine, pre-dentistry, pre-pharmacy, etc.). PPAC Cohort Management. Being a member of a PPAC Cohort will allow you to schedule an advising appointment with a pre-professional advisor based on your last-name.
- When selecting an advisor in the R'Web Portal, please select the following menu options:
1. 'I'm not sure, show me all option'
2. 'Graduate School'

- To meet with the Pre-Law Advisor, please call (951) 827-6233 or email PPAC@ucr.edu to schedule a 30-minute appointment. (Note: In July, cohorted pre-law students will have the option to schedule their advising appointment with a pre-law advisor via the R'Web Portal.)

PPAC Ambassadors
Ambassadors also considered peers and mentors are academically high-achieving third and fourth year students who also have a strong resume of involvement in academic coursework, clubs/orgs., clinical experiences (shadowing, volunteering, working) research and service opportunities. Ambassadors support first year students (and beyond) to explore and discover engagement opportunities. First year students are encouraged to meet with any ambassador at least once per quarter.
Additionally, ambassadors represent PPAC at admissions and student engagement events such as Discover Day, Highlander Day, Wednesday Nooners, events held by the Division of Undergraduate Education as well as other events that foster student exploration, involvement and learning.
No appointment is needed to meet with an ambassador.

Front Desk Student Staff
Student assistants support the PPAC front desk by being the first line of contact in answering and responding to email, phone calls, scheduling appointments, monitoring PPAC social media platforms and welcoming guests into the Center.
