Championing Student Success At UCR
NEW! Pre-Law advising will begin at UCR starting February 2025. Pre-Law advising will be available for any UCR student or alumni who has interest in learning about/pursing law school/a law-related career.
New Center Name!
Starting Winter Quarter 2025, the Health Professions Advising Center (HPAC) will transition to the Pre-Professional Advising Center (PPAC). This name change will be inclusive of Pre-Health and Pre-Law Advising.
What are the benefits of seeing a Pre-Law Advisor?
Our Pre-Law Advisor (to be announced at the end of January) will support all UCR students/alumni with discussing interest in law school, law/legal related careers, pre-req. courses, how to review law schools, how to prepare for the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT), how to approach Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) application portal, as well as other important components specific to applying to law school.
How to meet with a Pre-Law Advisor?
The Pre-Professional Advising Center (PPAC) is currently interviewing for Pre-Law Advisor candidates. Once a candidate is selected and arrives to campus, more information will be available regarding scheduling an advising appointment.
